Some Shows airing in Nepali television really worth to watch

Before the internet connection introduced in my home I used to stick in the T.V whole day. It was a very good gadget to pass time with and know what is happening in the world. There used to be few channels with less viewers coverage and few programs. You may remember Nepal Television is the First channel of Nepal established in 2041 B.S. Later on many channels introduced naming Kantipur, Image etc. 

Do you still give time to watch T.V ? 

I know most of you who has access with internet do not want to watch television. But I say watching T.V at present time is still worthy. You cannot search the content what you want, You cannot watch the programs at your time like many reasons are behind this but its still worth to watch T.V. 

Today I am going to talk about Shows that are airing in Nepali television that are really worth to watch and gives you value too. 



Kantipur T.V's Shows

Kantipur TV is serving its viewers since 2003 July. It is one of the most viewed television network in Nepal. It is private TV Organization. Some of the shows which broadcasts in KTV-Kantipur Television are going to be discussed below.

Herne Katha

Herne Katha writes in its website that they tell video stories of ordinary people in the format of short documentaries. It is mentioned that they publish herne katha twice in a month (1st and 15th) of every month. You can watch herne katha in Kantipur TV at 6:30 Pm Tuesday every week. You can see Bidhya Chapagain hosting the documentaries. She was former BBC journalist. 

Herne Katha covers the stories of ordinary people from madhesh to pahad exploring the lifestyle, culture and the situations of the people. It gives the glimpse of backwarded nepali society with social evils, uneducation and various social circumstances. 

Call Kantipur

It is a daily show airing in Kantipur TV HD. Nepali TV show call Kantipur lover are witness to the history of 15 years. It used to be hosted by a well known tv personality first named Suraj Singh Thakuri, now he hosts It's my Show in the same channel. This program specially focucses the youth related topics. Not only in Nepal Call Kantipur is also getting love fron international nepali origin viewers. Call Kantipur is produced and managed by Kantipur TV HD. Some times there we can enjoy talk with guests from Kollyhood, and other different industries. It tunes at 5 pm every day in Kantipur TV HD.

License to Drive

License to drive is the first automobile show on Nepali Television industry. It helps you to get information about the automobiles like four wheeler and two wheeler. It was first aired by Kantipur TV in 2002. Since then it is providing viewers the reviews of two wheeler's and four wheeler's automobile. Different episodes are made with the test drive ride with popular Nepali Movie Industries personalities. Which provides the flavor of entertainment along with the information. 

You can find tech programs and talk programs every where in the digital world from the Nepali Producers but automobile related programs are rare in our TV industry. This show fulfils the essence of automobile show in Nepali Television industry.

Comedy Champion

Comedy Champion is a comedy based reality show being aired in Kantipur TV HD. It is airing its second season now every Tuesday and Wednesday at 3 pm. It is produced by Nepali actress Keki Adhikari. As we know Reema Bishwokarma hosted the first season and she is hosting the second season with Bishnu Prashad Gaudel ( contestant of season 1). If you love the comedy stuffs it is a better show for you. The remarkable judge panel of Santosh Pant, Manoj Gajurel, Reecha Sharma and Pradip Bhattarai adds more fun to watch the show. 

Good Morning Nepal

This is a starter show of Kantipur TV HD and its for those who wants to know about the current affairs. It is like the Newspaper because it gives you the hot topic's explanations every day at 8 am. 
I suggest you to watch this show for your GK improvement too. You can enjoy celebrities' talk schedule in some episodes. 


Himalaya TV Shows

Jeevan Sathi

Jeevan sathi is purely a couple and relationship directed show airing in Himalaya TV HD. It is hosted by Malvika Subba. You can enjoy the talk with successful couple of Nepali origin. She asks guest to their struggle and their early life. Moreover it gives you kicks to your memories and helps you to better decorate your marital life and decision.

Roadies

Himalayan Roadies is a reality show based on the popular Indian TV show MTV Roadies. It focuses on the young adults of Nepal who want to take their adventurous passion in to a brand level. The show shoots its various episodes in different places of country to give the task and challenge to the contestant. There you can enjoy the comments and the tasks of judges such as Laure, Anoop Bikram Shah, Raymond Shrestha, Deeya Maskey. 

Voice of Nepal

Voice of Nepal is the Nepalese franchise of International TV reality show. It used to broadcast in Kantipur TV first but you can enjoy this show now in Himalayan TV HD. It contains really talented and popular judge panel of  Deep Shrestha, Pramod Bhattarai, Raju Lama, and Trishana Gurung. I think it is really different from other singing reality show in Nepal. It is being hosed by Sushil Nepal.

AP 1 TV is also delivering quality shows to the viewers. Here are some best shows of AP1 to watch which are really worth to watch.

Career Quiz

CMC Career Quiz is Presented by Chitwan Medical College to give students a platform to show case their G.K knowledge. It is one of the most viewed television quiz show. You can get various GK related knowledge from that show. It airs on seasons basis. It is already hosted by popular personalities like Rajesh Hamal, Malvika Shubba, and Robin Shrestha. It is being on air at 9:30 too 10:00 PM. every Tuesday only on AP1 TV HD.

RajatPat

If you love cinema and want to get updates about the cinemas then this is the best show for you. Prakash Subedi a cinema journalist working in Nepali cinema industry for two decades collects and shows you the humorous contents in this show. A man hosting the show with his 30 years of experience in news documentary really can satisfy your need to watch a analytical current affairs show.
