Nepali soil experienced the pen nip of many great poets and novelist. They left us but their creation remained with us as their goodbye gift. I have been exploring the best books available in our market and libraries for years. I found a lot of books which must be read once in our life. Whatever you love fiction, love, drama anything you will find the combined tests in the book of Nepali writers. I loved this thing in our literature. That's why I always wait for the arrival of new Nepali Nobel.

I know you may feel that if I could write like thus whenever you read a perfect book. This is the power and inspiration actually Nepali Books and Nobel gives to us. Muna Madan

A unforgettable poet Lakshmi Parshad said, " please do not burn this book after my death if you are going to burn everything from me." This is the best selling book of all time in Nepal. This is a poetry based in the Zhyaure Rhythm. It is a poetic poetry in which Muna and Madan's story of love divorce is explained. The Famous line " छेत्रिको छोरो यो पाउ छुन्छ घिनले छुदैन,मनिस् ठुलो दिलले हुन्छ जातले हुदैन" is also from Muna Madan.

Seto Bagh is based on historical background. It is a hilarious social Novel written by Diamond Shamsher Rana. It shows the competition among the brothers and members of Royal family of Nepal to succeed on by another with any cost. It is the best evidence to learn about the Royal history of Nepal. Few years ago a movie also featured in his book Seto bagh You can also watch it. Neer Shah and his team starred in this movie.

A Novel by Krishna Dharabashi can itself describe the Nepali Literature, many readers passes comments like this. It is a outstanding Nepali Novel all set around the ancient epic Mahabharat with some changes. Radha is popularly known as the love of Krishna according to the Hindu region. She is not described in the epic Mahabharat, he tries to describe her from where she was left in a very fascinating way.

Jhola

Jhola is a Nepali Novel based on Sati Pratha and a featured film as well. It was loved as a book as well  as in the form of movie. I know there would be few Nepali who has not watched the Movie Jhola yet. I recommend you to watch the movie made on the Jhola Novel instead of reading the book because the whole background and culture is shown in the movie in such a way that it feels like you are on the era of Rana's rule and Sati Pratha. You can enjoy the awful social system Sati Pratha and the perfect act of Garima Pant in this movie.

The blue mimosa is the english translation of Nepali Novel Shirish Ko Ful. In her Pseudonym Parijat we know her well to Bishnu Kumari Waiba. This was the Parijat's first and the most successful Novel in her life. It is the dream of every Nepali student reading in secondary level to read this Novel. Me and my friends used to have that dream.
